It was a tiring Friday.
For the whole week, I have just managed to sleep about 4-5 hours per day. And, I have no fucking idea what I was doing in these awaken hours. I remembered I watched UEFA Championship League match between Barcelona and Benfica one night and was blogging the other night. But that is not the reason why I stayed up. Basically, I think I need to stay up for indulgence of that lonely hours with myself, just me and myself. I sacrificed my sleep for that.
After wednesday dinner with whistler, AiS and YC at Kayu, Bkt. Tinggi, we made ourselves another dinner appointment at Jogoya, StarHill Gallery on friday.
MF and I reached there early. While whistler still having fun at Thai Club, YC still couldn't have herself figuring out where is her exact location around Taman Tun, and AiS still waiting in office for YC, we took a walk around top floor of StarHill and saw these interesting sculptures.
After a while we decided to have a few bites first while waiting for them, and also because we were already starving.
We were seated at a table in a corner. Nice atmosphere there I'll say. The seafood and sashimi were nice, especially the oysters which are huge and fresh and juicy; the butterfish sashimi was chewy and yummy. Excellent taste on the ice cream and dessert, I loved the chocolate mousse cake. Other than that, we tried different cooking style of seafood and found they're ok.
Everything is great until the restaurant announced that they are closing down at 12am and they actually started cleaning the food and things at 11.40pm. We were suprised as we thought it's open until 2am and it's written on the business card as well!
Hence we asked one of the lady works there.
whistler: Thought it's open until 2am, no?
The Lady: NO (with very high pitch), DON'T SCARE ME, WE OPEN UNTIL 12AM ONLY!
Me: But is written in the business card (showed her the business card)
The Lady: THAT IS FOR OUTLET IN TAIWAN ONE! YOU SHOULD SEE THE OPENING HOUR WE PUT OUTSIDE THE ENTRANCE!
Fine! Then we stepped outside of the restaurant, and found out it's written "open until 1am". OK, we were fooled by the "2am" from business card, but she is wrong about the "12am" as well. Heck, so is it open until 1am or 2am or 12am? Or, it's up to their mood?
